Doña María, a sweet 80-year-old woman, decided to visit the doctor on a sunny summer day. Despite her advanced age, she maintained a good sense of humor and always had a joke up her sleeve.
Upon arriving at the clinic, Doña María was received by Doctor Rodríguez, a serious professional with little inclination for humor. The old woman smiled and said, “Doctor, I have a problem. Every time I drink coffee, I feel a sting in my left eye.”
The doctor, intrigued by her unusual complaint, examined Doña María thoroughly. He asked her questions about her medical history, her eating habits and her daily routine. It turns out that every time I drink the coffee, I’m trying to read the name of the man who made the cup, which is written on the bottom.” !”
The doctor, surprised by Doña María’s occurrence, could not contain her laughter. “That’s incredible, Dona María! I’ve never heard such a peculiar reason to visit the doctor.” They both laughed together as the doctor prescribed a good dose of joy and a recommendation to wear reading glasses.
